PETER KENNEDY
Dr Peter Kennedy is a Senior Research Fellow within the Environment & Sustainability Institute at University of Exeter’s Penryn campus in Cornwall. He has a BSc in Biology from Southampton University and a PhD in Agricultural Ecology from Bristol University. Peter has over 25 years’ experience as a field ecologist studying the behaviour and population dynamics of beneficial insects. His research has included studying the impact of multiple stressors on honey bee colony development and survival, as well as factors affecting foraging behaviour. He has been involved in research into Vespa velutina since this invasive non-native species first arrived in the UK in 2016.
